In June 2010, the PCB manufacture Goto-Electronics released the SNES-CD model that the Nintendo-Sony talks resulted in for use in Nintendo's developers.[29] The untouched SNES cartridges were confirmed as being released on August 11, 1993, and are of a modified Nintendo version of the Super Famicom Cartridge Format (SNES-C) featuring the same and Karaoke numbers on the front label as on the original SNES. The base game cartridges were priced at 5,000 yen each, while the additional software was at 7,000 yen each for a pack-in price of 12,000 yen. The games all carried the same \"Super Mario All-Stars\" name and were composed of newly-translated English dialogue accompanying the Japanese game's original music, but most of the unused data from the Japanese game was also included. This included some game data that had never made it to Japanese cartridges, such as advertisement pages, a banned words list, and the Treasury Room which has the entry for \"New Super Mario Bros.,\" which is printed as such on the title screen to this day. The language translation was done by Nintendo's own Nintendo of Europe department and was not done by Nintendo of America like previous language changes for Nintendo of America NES games, for reasons unknown. The bonus games were included in the package at the cost of increasing the price of the cartridge to 21,000 yen.
This is the Mario game that every other version of the Super Nintendo is technically based upon. While the NES SNES version has the added bonus of 2 additional levels and other additions, Mario's other world is not split into two, and the world in between is identical to the NES SNES's version. 7211a4ac4a
