Players can mine for any kind of material they can mine in the Minecraft world. There are many types of blocks in the game. Some blocks can be used as a mixture to create other blocks and mobs, while others are used for certain structures like obsidian and textured wooden planks. Blocks have a variety of properties and can be broken and replaced. Some of the blocks are brokenable like wood, stone, rubber, or trash. Some of the blocks provide more strength than others but are harder to break. For example, a flagstone gives a few times as much strength as a stone but is much more durable, and a tree provides 20 times as much weight as a log but is much harder to break. Many blocks are categorized into three or four general groups based on their uses. One of each basic group of blocks can be found in the game. In addition a new group of blocks, igneous, were added in the 1.13 update to the game.[74]
Each kingdom starts with a piece of land, which can be any shape, size, or orientation to the player's liking. Kingdoms start with a default population of sheep, but players can unlock more sheep, cows, and horses at the cost of an in-game currency called coins. Towns and villages have a specific magic capacity depending on their rank, and can produce various useful things, including seeds for carrots, fruit, and bread. There are a fixed number of each type of seed, and cows, sheep, and horses produce duplicates of the seed that naturally grows in the overworld. Towns also supply a town portal, which is a special action point that spawns items and allows the player to teleport across the entire world.
Players can craft most of the blocks and items that are available in the game. Most of the blocks in the game, except for some unique blocks like planks or glass, are made by combining other blocks. Crafting consists of breaking the item in the crafting window, using the correct tool and enough unequipped items or picks, and combining the result in the crafting window. Each block has a recipe that can, when followed, craft the corresponding block. d2c66b5586
