As a breast cancer survivor myself, I have special interest in treating patients who are diagnosed with the same disease. Going through this experience personally has given me a first-hand understanding of what our patients are feeling physically and emotionally as they undergo the treatment process.\r\n\r\nMy experience with cancer has shown me how to relate to patients and families on a closer level and it has also helped me become a better provider.
